Spin

A loading indicator, on its own or wrapped around the content it is waiting for, with a delay so a fast response never flashes it.

Anotomy

Structure of the spin and how its internal parts are composed. These are the spin's semantic parts, so they are also what the classNames and styles objects accept. The older tip and mask keys still work but are deprecated. From the left: a spin on its own, a spin over content with a description, and a fullscreen spin.

NameDescription
1rootThe spin element. Over wrapped content it is the layer that dims it. fullscreen stretches it over the page.
2sectionThe block that holds the indicator and the description. It carries the color the dots take.
3indicatorThe animated mark, four dots by default. indicator replaces it, and size scales it.
4descriptionThe text under the indicator, from description.
5containerThe wrapper around the content a spin is placed over. It renders only when the spin has children.
